Oriental College of Pharmacy is located at the heart of the satellite city Navi Mumbai, a stone throwing distance from Sanpada Railway station, having good connectivity with other transportation system.

The college provides an excellent environment for learning and development of the students. It believes in an open culture where the student-teacher distance is minimum which allows for maximum student -teacher interaction resulting in long knowledge sharing sessions within the college premises. It does not believe in the knock and enter policy. All the facilities of the college are accessible to the students during the college hours. All the faculty members are young, energetic, enthusiastic and always ready to share their knowledge.

Every student is provided with a mentor for identifying one’s personality, strengths, weakness and helping the individuals in their overall development. The mentors have the responsibility of ensuring that each of their students excel in academics as well as extra curricular activities.

The college strongly believes that the real development of students can be achieved when they succeed in their professional as well as their personal lives. The college organizes various scientific seminars and workshops for the students to boost their professional skills. It also organizes workshops on personality development, communication skill and stress management including Yoga training and counselling to boost students’ confidence.

    • GLP training for non teaching staff.
    • QIP program for teaching staff.
    • Workshop on STP attended by teaching staff.

  • Workshop on research methodology and Biostatistics.

  • Various seminars through out the year based upon current research and development or hands on instruments

Students are being exposed to periodic seminar/ workshop conducted by Renowned Academicians and Industrial Personalities in order to build the student smart in Academics flavored with industrial trend.

What next in OCP after Graduation

The college has been granted to start with Master of pharmacy course with specialization in Pharmaceutics and pharmacognosy. Graduated students from college can opt for Master Degree at OCP offer qualifying in entrance examination. Those students who are qualified by GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) are entitled to get stipends by AICTE, INDIA. As on today 3 batches of students have passed out and soaring high in their next assignments either in higher studies or in professional carrier.

LIBRARY

Library has enormous collection of quality books, National/ International journals and availability of wide range of e- journals to students with no cost.

CANTEEN

Present Canteen gives refreshment at reasonable cost. Management has decided to build a new canteen with need- based availability of food & facility comparable to any technical institute.

GYMKHANA

it offers opportunities for development and proficiency in sport of various indoor games. College students are encouraged in intra and inter college sports as their extra curriculum development.

COLLEGE MAGAZINE

An annual magazine is published each year by the students with significant contribution of articles from students and teachers.

RAILWAY CONCESSION

Bonafied students are eligible for Railway concession fir their season tickets between their nearest Railway station and Sanpada.
