Oriental College of Pharmacy [OCP], Sanpada, Navi Mumbai organized One Day Seminar cum Workshop on ‘Viscosity & Texture Analysis In Pharmaceutical Industry’ in collaboration with BRK Instruments India LLP on Thursday, 30th August 2018. The programme was attended by B. Pharm. & M. Pharm. students and faculty of Oriental College of Pharmacy. Technical & Product Specialists Mr. Rahul Mishra and Mr. Rahul Shinde as resource speakers covered the significance of measurement of viscosity and texture analysis in Pharmaceuticals. The interrelation between rheology and other product dimensions that makes measurement of viscosity the most sensitive or convenient way of detecting changes in color, density, stability, solids content, and molecular weight was well explained. Principal Dr. Sudha Rathod welcomed the resource speakers and thanked the speakers for sharing their knowledge and experience and also thanked Programme Convener, Dr. Mrs. Pradnya Palekar-Shanbhag, Professor & Head, Pharmaceutics Department for initiating industry collaborative IQAC activity.
