On the auspicious occasion of 70th Independence Day, we at Oriental Education Society, Sanpada campus, celebrated the Independence Day event with great enthusiasm. The programme began with the flag hoisting by honorable chief guest Dr. Mrs. Ratni Thakur (Principal of B. Ed). Each individual present at the event sang The National Anthem with great pride.
The pragramme proceeded with a short skit presented by B.Com students. Immediately after the skit all the dignitaries, teaching & non teaching staff proceeded towards the seminar hall. A heartwarming speech was given by our chief guest Dr. Mrs. Ratni Thakur. It was followed by a short speech by the general secretary of Oriental College of Pharmacy. The cultural head of pharmacy sang a melodious song. A beautiful patriotic dance was also performed by pharmacy students. B.Ed students filled the seminar hall by their enchanting melodies. A Hindi speech which gave a new perspective to the day was also given by one of the pharmacy student. An eye strucking moment was when we saw “Unity in diversity” a fashion show presented by our B.Ed students. The event was enlightened by a skit which focused light on the current situation of India by our Pharmacy students. The general secretary of Oriental College of Pharmacy concluded the event by giving a vote of thanks.
