Project Description

On the auspicious occasion of 72nd Independence Day, we at Oriental Education Society, Sanpada campus, celebrated the Independence Day event with great enthusiasm. Participants were (1) Oriental college of Pharmacy (2) Oriental law college (3) Oriental college of education (4) Oriental college of Commerce & Technology.

The programme began with the flag hosting by honorable Prof. Waseem Ahmed (Principal, Oriental College Of Law) followed by all the principals. Each individual present at the event sang The National Anthem with great pride.

Immediately after this all the dignitaries, teaching , non teaching staff and students proceeded towards the seminar hall. Dignitaries present on the dias were Chief Guest- Hon. President Javed Khan Sir. The Guest Of Honour was Prof. Waseem Ahmed , Dr. Sudha Rathod (Principal, Oriental College Of Pharmacy), Dr.Ratni Thakur (Principal, Oriental College of Education). They were welcomed by Prof. Raosaheb (Principal, Sanpada college of commerce and technology) with a bouquet . Prof. Raosaheb was felicitated by Prof. Sheela W S (Vice Principal, Sanpada College of Commerce and Technology)

The programme proceeded with a fusion of patioatric songs presented by the students of Sanpada College of Commerce & Technology. This was followed by Dance, Skit & Singing by the students of Oriental College of Education on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Then the students of Oriental College of Law performed a Mime act

Our Pharmacy Nightingales sang a mixture of patriotic songs. It was followed by a speech in Hindi by a student from Oriental College of Law . A heartwarming speech was given by our Guest of honour Prof. Waseem Ahmed Sir. Finally Prof. Harjeet Bhatti (Cultural Chairperson of Sanpada College of Commerce and Technology) concluded the event by giving Vote of Thanks which was followed by refreshments.
