Pharmacy is an in demand, high paying profession. Only B. Pharm degree does not suffice the ever changing demand of pharmaceutical industry and pharmacy profession. Master’s degree or specialization in the field of pharmaceutical sciences is must for brighter future. Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharma) in India is offered as post graduate course after completion of B.Pharma degree. The M. Pharma course is normally of two years duration. As per the new Credit Based System of Mumbai University, it is two semester (one year) theory and practical examinations and two full semester research work. The course focuses on specialisation in the field of pharmacy. The programmes are intended to give a immersive professional experience and an opportunity to acquire further competence either in one’s own discipline. At OCP, we offer you full-fledged M. Pharm course in to four important fields of pharmacy education.

  • M Pharm Pharmaceutics (Sanctioned intake: 15 students)
  • M Pharm Pharmacology (Sanctioned intake: 10 students)

  • M Pharm Quality Assurance (Sanctioned intake: 15 students)
Course Duration

2 Years

Eligibility: – Eligibility criteria for admission in M. Pharm

For Admission to M.Pharm through GPAT Qualified candidates
Candidate should be an Indian National and who possess Bachelors degree or equivalent in Pharmacy from an AICTE approved institutions with at least 50% marks (At least 45% marks in case of SC/ST category belonging to Maharashtra State only)

Should have valid and qualified GPAT Score
For Admission to M.Pharm through MAH-MPH-CET candidates
Candidate should be an Indian National and who possess Bachelors degree or equivalent in Pharmacy from an AICTE approved institutions with at least 50% marks (At least 45% marks in case of SC/ST category belonging to Maharashtra State only)

Note: Fees structure will be as per the shikshan shulk summiti of Govt. Maharastra

Attendance

A student is expected to attend all classes. However, as per the Mumbai University ordinance, a student must put in 75% of total attendance for each subject, in the absence of which he/she will not be eligible to write the exam for that subject. A student is required to monitor his/ her own attendance and no separate notice will be displayed. Absence beyond 25% will not be condoned for any reason whatsoever.

Rules Concerning Admission

A student seeking admission to the college shall have to present himself/herself along with an application form duly filled in and signed by his/her parent/guardian for an interview with the Principal.
A student once admitted to the college will be considered as duly enrolled for the academic year and he/she shall be liable to pay the full fees for the two years.
In case of cancellation of admission, the rules of D.T.E., Maharashtra shall be followed regarding refund of fees etc.

Any student wish to cancel his/her admission in any semester will have to pay the tution fees for the balance semesters.

  • B.Pharmacy mark lists (First, Second, Third & Final Year)
  • G-PAT Score card
  • College Leaving/Transfer certificate
  • Birth Certificate
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Non-Creamy layer certificate (if applicable)
  • Any other documents required for claiming admission in the reservation category
  • Provisional eligibility certificate given by University of Mumbai to students from other Universities
  • Three Xerox copies of each Mark Sheet and Certificate along with the original Mark Sheet and Certificates
  • Three recent passport size photographs.
  • Migration certificate and verification documents (for graduates from other than Mumbai University)
